Life's Simple Pleasures
The four of us enjoyed a nice evening in the park with other families at an annual Picnic in the Park sponsored by the boys' school. After a couple of hours of eating, running, rolling down the hills, being chased by girls, playing on the playground, and just enjoying the open air, Ethan and Noah proclaimed the night a success. Ethan said it was either the second or first best time of his life, but he couldn't quite decide. Noah proceeded to rank the evening number three in his life, being just edged out by Christmas and his birthday, he said!

Life's simple pleasures truly are the best!
Isn't it amazing how the simple pleasure of rolling down a grassy hill can be one of the top best times in your life? It's sad we forget to appreciate silly stuff like that when we grow up...thank God children remind us to not be so serious.
