Fall Ball

Ethan and Noah are playing fall baseball with their cousins. It's a huge step up from the pitching machine with the kids themselves doing the pitching. Noah continues to play, eat, sleep, and dream baseball. After 3 and 1/2 hours of practice on Sunday morning, he was ready for more and did not want to come home. Here is a picture of him making it to second base during one of their five games so far. Sliding is one of his favorite things about the game. He eventually made it home on this hit.

Ethan tried his hand at pitching during one of the games. For a kid with little to no practice pitching, he held his own. I was proud of him for even trying -- that's a lot of pressure with all eyes on you. He is having a good time, but told me he missed karate. I have a feeling we'll return to that at the end of the season.

I'm loving the arrangements with the Vipers this season. My brother coaches, Aaron assists, both kids, and their two cousins...all on one team! So convenient!

It is crazy how much time sports take up! We just realized that it is impossible to eat dinner at home when practice is from 6-7:30 on the other side of town. At least the weather is getting better!
