Ethan Turns Twelve

Ethan requested a "simple" night at home for his birthday with his all time favorite meal, a sandwich from Port of Subs. I think he could eat that seven days a week and not tire of it.

He doesn't care for cake, so yogurt was his "special" of choice. We have called dessert a "special" in our house ever since the kids were little. It started out as the distinction between a healthy snack and a special snack. Henceforth, when we eat dessert, we are having a special.

Aaron had to be at work early on Friday, so Ethan opened presents without him. I tried to videotape it, but somehow, I messed it up. So Ethan recapped some of his gifts and we sent the video to Aaron at work. Here's just a few seconds of the video.
