After a few weeks of summer vacation at home, I was itching to leave town. Aaron's work schedule is pretty hectic, so the boys and I took a quick trip to California. We had a great three days of nice weather, a leisurely pace, and just exploring new places.
The kids are great traveling companions -- always up for an adventure. Ethan is a master of google maps on my phone, so he was the best navigator I could ask for. Noah's latest interest is luxury cars, so he had a field day spotting his favorites on the privileged streets of Orange County. Porsches and Lamborghinis and Maseratis, oh my!

| Noah is a fan of the show Cupcake Wars, so we visited one of the judge's stores, Sprinkles Cupcakes. Noah said it was the best Red Velvet he ever had, and that is his favorite flavor so he knows what he is talking about. His 2nd favorite show (Sports Center is #1) is Storage Wars, so we also went to one of the second hand stores that is featured on the show while we were in Orange County. |

| The Crab Cooker was recommended to us, and Noah loves seafood so we gave it a try. Ethan's favorite thing was the Fisherman's bread. That's my boy -- a serious lover of carbs. |

| We rode the ferry to Balboa Island. It was a quick and fun little trip. |

| Hands down, our favorite thing was our long day at the beach. The kids never tired of playing in the waves. |

| Ethan later took a break to build sandcastles with me, but Noah didn't want to leave the water for hours and hours. |
