Nevada Day
Thank goodness we live in Nevada. We get a holiday for October 30th, Nevada Day (also my birthday!). We get the last Friday in the month off, guaranteeing a nice three day weekend right around Halloween. My sister-in-law Tina and I took the kids to a brand new park right around the corner from our house. As the pictures show, the boys had a great time.

I never appreciated having that day off right around Halloween until I moved out of Vegas. I also didn't appreciate all of the parking, drive-thrus, warm weather, large garages...stuff that makes day to day life easier.
